Water based McLube mandrel lubricants for flexible, rigid and bent/formed mandrel built hose, antistick coatings for pan cured hose products, and coatings for cure tape are available for in-house testing or customer sampling. Products are operator and environmentally friendly. Suitable for use in automotive, hydraulic, industrial, chemical and food hose applications. They are designed to provide superior mandrel ejection and removal of finished cured hose. Benefits include ease of mandrel ejection, low blow- off pressure, no pin holing, elimination of i.d. contamination, and improved coupling retention. McLube has developed a new water based rubber lubricant. This exciting new product provides a durable, dry, colorless film coating that bonds tenaciously to the applied surface. It has proven to provide excellent lubricity, a low coefficient of friction and superior slip/stick properties. McLube Introduces New Water Based Semi-Permanent Release Coatings
The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a new water based semi-permanent release coating for synthetic, natural and silicone rubber parts and elastomers. Products are designed for maximum releases per application with no transfer or mold build-up. Molds will stay cleaner longer providing increased productivity. McLube semi-permanent water based mold release coatings are designed for the injection, transfer and compression molding of rubber parts. They have proven to be extremely effective with peroxide cured compounds, high filler content, and other difficult to mold compounds. Can be used with FKM, HNBR, polyacrylates, CPE, butyl, polybutadene, natural, neoprene, ECO, as well as silicone rubber. Products are operator and environmentally friendly containing no hazardous material. Product attributes include maximum durability, improved flow properties, elimination of knit lines and voids, increased productivity, reduced scrap rate, ease of release, elimination of mold build- up and economy of use. Products are stable solutions that will not settle, do not require mixing, have a long shelf life, and are chemically and thermally stable.
