McLube has offered reliable, cost-effective lubrication technology for over sixty years. McLube Lubrication Technology is used in industrial and military applications ranging from delicate watch mechanisms to the brutal stresses of aircraft carrier launching systems. Our formulation chemists continually improve existing products and formulate new, cutting-edge lubricants for a variety of industries and applications. We offer a wide range of lubrication products, including dry-film lubricants, grease, paste, oil dispersions, and powders. McLube lubricants contain polytetrafluoroethylene, molybdenum disulfide, or a combination for synergistic effect. Polytetrafluoroethylene, also known as Teflon® or PTFE, is a non-reactive resin commonly used as a lubricant or anti-sticking agent. PTFE molecules have incredible durability and flexibility and one of the lowest coefficients of friction available today. Coefficient of Friction is a function of force multiplied by pressure and refers to a given substance’s degree of lubricity. Molybdenum disulfide, or Moly, is a relatively nonreactive lubricating compound with low-friction qualities and high-pressure and temperature tolerances for applications in extreme conditions. Contact McLube for process assistance and free samples.
